A kinetic lamp that translates the four elements Earth, Fire, Wind, and Water into motion. Inspired by the spiral geometry of a storm, the lamp features an outer orb that opens and closes like a living object, using a mirrored interior to reflect the fluid patterns of a water drop.

Mechanical Screw-Jack System: Design of a system that converts motor rotation into precise linear motion using a worm gear and threaded screw. Dynamic Textile Installation: A layered material system using silk organza and woven horsehair fabric to create shifting transparency during motion. Spiral Geometry Motion Study: Development of a self-locking expansion structure that allows the lamp to breathe and contract. Interactive Lighting Prototype: An illuminated central element that interacts with a mirrored interior to simulate flowing water.
